In addition, the title of Notary within the Offices has been conferred on each of those listed on this website by order of the Garde des Sceaux, i.e. Minister of Justice, which can be consulted in the Official Journal of the French Republic (www.legifrance.gouv.fr).
Each of them is registered with the Chamber of Notaries of his region.
9. Insurance and financial guarantee
The professional activity of each notary is covered by a civil liability insurance policy taken out with Mutuelle du Mans assurances (département professions libérales, 14 bld Marie et Alexandre Oyon, 72030 Le Mans Cedex 9) up to 100 million euros per claim and without geographical limitation and, beyond that, by the Caisse régionale de Garantie des notaires – Paris 1 (12 avenue Victoria, 75001 Paris).
